1) sorry I forgot to take pics after the rust dissolver but before paint. I will say that while the dissolver cleaned up the rust pretty good on most of the parts, the pumpkin still had a decent amount.
2) I tried to mask off any plastic parts, cables/wires, and around the brake rotors

Thanks for your detailed response. My rust is much worse than yours. I think I'm going to try Rust-Oleum rust dissolver first, then flat black Rust-Oleum paint, then crc corrosion inhibitor.
Would you recommend using the crc corrosion inhibitor or the fluid film after painting? I know members on here have used both, so I am just asking what you think.
