I mentioned that SPD Alpha set-up in another thread and keeping an eye out for people who've bought it and their experience with it.
SPD's other down-pipe set up with the GESI cat option is roughly $500 more than the Alpha set-up with it's unknown / unproven cats. The biggest drawback the...
I doubt they're much different, but their price will cost you as much, if not more, as an Aftermarket set up and you have no guarantee they're any better than the stock F150 or Aftermarket.

That's a link to an online break down for the Raptor R exhaust...
That's where I think the SPD set-up with GESI cats is probably better than their Alpha set-up.
It would be a true dual exhaust with 3" piping all the way back, for each cylinder bank. Where as the Alpha would be like Factory but with larger piping and better flowing cats.
Granted, it's...
GESI Gen2 cats are what SPD uses on their other down-pipe set up, but it's hard to say what the cats on the Alpha set-up are sourced from.
Did they work with GESI to develop them?
It's hard to say but I plan on keeping an eye out for people that install the SPD Alpha set-up to see what their...
Sadly, they didn't go into specifics about their testing.
The SPD setup has positive points over the factory stock Y-pipe & cats with it's bigger pipe size and better flowing cats, but did they do any 'torture' testing of the Alpha set-up and if they did what kind and was it on the...
While some what related to this thread I didn't feel it needed a new forum thread, but SPD has released a new catted down-pipe specifically for the 5.0L F150.

While not cheap at $2200 it 'could' be a possible alternative, so I reached out...
It's not discontinued as far as I know, but Whipple doesn't have the 2024 tune ready or approved as of yet.
From what I've heard, the super-charger kits are the same as the 2023, but the tune is completely different and that is the reason why both Roush and Whipple are giving early to late...
It's a good looking truck in that color.
I considered that color, but went with Oxford White instead and those are the wheels I'm looking at also.
I saw a Dealers walk around video of a white RCSB with 8' bed and the grill color didn't look too bad on it. It made me wonder how white would...
As far as I know they still do, but it's not consistent.
I got my Bronco's baby picture 3 days after it was built and others built the same day never received one at all.
I've read that thread and others from other vehicle forums and it seems it doesn't matter if the vehicle is boosted (super-charged or Turbo) or N/A the cats are going to fail. It's a situation of 'when they will fail' not 'if they will fail', sadly.
I chose to go the super-charged route, so...
I've used Colorbond on other vehicles and their factory colors are a good match to OEM. I've also use SEM and their offerings are pretty good also.
My preference leans towards Colorbond, but the biggest factor for anyone, especially d.i.y people, is surface prep. Don't cut corners with...
It's essentially the same response I got when I asked about installing the SPD down-pipes with GESI cats.
I guess what strikes me odd about my reply from them is they recommended a spark-plug gap of .028 and someone else posted that the Whipple kit recommends something like .03 or .031 (don't...
