The interest rates have been mentioned. For incentives, I had two separate $1k incentives, at least one of which was from when I ordered (possibly both, I didn't bother to ask what the second one was, I was just happy to get it, but it wasn't mentioned when I ordered the truck back in October).
My dealer had a platinum trim delivered the same day (23 March) as my Lariat trim. It was for a canceled order, and someone had already decided to buy it.
I have a 2024 Lariat. I can definitively say the seats are FAR more comfortable than my 2011 XLT. But, I think that may have to do more with the age and 13 years of difference between the trucks at this point. But, they are SUPER comfortable (The whole truck is, honestly).
Nope. My arrived at the dealer before the tracker updated. My dealer called me, and let me know when it would be ready (About 2 days later), and the tracker updated later, let me know it was in final prep (skipping the shipping step entirely). I found out my vehicle was in West Virginia...
I retired 1 January of this year. Dealer I worked with gives the discount to any active or retired military--they just use the id.me site, which sent me an email with a code I forwarded to the dealer.
Smoked Truffle: The pictures are fairly accurate to what it looks like, at least to me. I'm also not super sensitive to color, I don't have a strong artist in me.
Engine Bay color: I don't remember, I'll check again today when I get off work.
Financing: I got 3.9 for 3 years. Other...
Picked it up today. I did get the 3.9%, and 2 $1k incentives (from when I ordered it) and a $500 military discount. And A/Z plan. Also, Ford's price dropped from when I ordered it, knocking another bit off (don't remember how much).
Thanks! Yeah, my last truck was SCAB, with the 6.5. The 5.5 is just too short for me. Wife wanted the full doors on this one, so I upgraded to the SCREW. If the 6.5 wasn't available with the SCREW, I'd have gotten another SCAB. I'm looking forward to the extra space (and comfort, upgrading...
Dearborn. Window sticker attached. I'll be getting the A/Z plan, so I'm unsure what my total cost is, as I don't have my original paperwork in-front of me at work (It cut around 9k off the price, as I recall).
Dealer emailed me yesterday, my truck arrived, I can pick it up on Saturday. (Lariat, 501A, SCrew, 6.5 foot bed. 3.5L PB). Originally ordered back in October, blend date of 12 March.
Dealer just reached out to me--my truck reached the "built" stage on the tracker on 13 March. Still says that (although the green dot is now on confirmed). My truck is apparently already in West Virginia (MD delivery location), from Dearborn. Tracker (or Ford Corporate) hasn't informed me...
I agree-that being said, I grew up near that dealer--it's pretty close to Dearborn (by Michigan standards, about an hour drive), so there's a lot of Ford employees and retirees in the area (including my family).
They were offering a PHEV version of the Excape in 2022 (when my wife bought her escape), the dealer told us that "Delivery date on an PHEV is unknown," and since they had started ordering them, exactly 0 had come in. I was hoping for a PHEV for this truck. My uneducated guess (informed only...
