I also think this is a pretty neat product! I think it’d be great to shoot off of when set up vertically. I often times keep a bunch of stuff in the bed and this would help keep it from moving all over the place. I like this design much more than the tubular style that’s been on the market for a...
Finishing polish and a microfiber. Discoloration is oxidation and spots are water spots. Be very gentle. Don’t do it too often or you will end up polishing through the paint.
Good luck!
That’s a significant nip. Doesn’t look like sanding will fix it because it appears to be under the color coat. Might be something on the aluminum panel instead in the paint.
do a test spot with iron remover first. No need to waste all the product and money. Give it a minute or so and if it doesn’t turn a purple or red color no need to keep spraying. That means it’s not iron.
I would buy a tar and sap remover. Stoners makes a great aerosol product you can buy at any...
I don’t rush. I’m a very conservative driver at all times. It takes us 5-5.5 hours to get to Myrtle Beach when it should take 4.5.
Just trying to see what improvements people have done for a little more comfort on longer trips.
We eventually want to go out west to the Montana/Wyoming/Idaho...
I need to get this back on course.
I am asking what you guys have installed to improve towing comfort and stabiblity. The sway we experience I think is from some wind and corrects itself fairly quickly. It does not porpoise like some people have experienced in the F-150.
1. I have a 10,000lb...
Yes. I am running the Equalizer 10K WDH with built in friction sway control.
My main stability concerns are a little bit of sway around 70mph. It feels like it’s in my suspension. That’s what is making me feel like a rear sway bar might help.
Hello everyone!
I have a 3L powerstroke w/o max tow making my rating 10,200lbs. I am happy with the performance of the motor minus some grades around Western NC that are a little steep but I have an idea that will let the truck breathe way better…. 🤔…. Truck is completely stock other than LT...
OEM truck tires a picked for fuel mileages boosts. Meaning they are lighter and not made for trucks. I had a 2013 that had Goodyear SRAs on it that had the same issues. I knew going in to this truck that I would be buying 10 ply tires around 15K miles regardless of the condition. Not surprised...
Rifle hunted whitetail back home in Kansas this year. Didn’t get a big 10 point buck I saw and could have shot if the season opened a day sooner… ended up shooting a 1.5 year old Elliot from Open Season on day 8 of 10 that got tangled up with a bigger buck than he shouldn’t have. Wasn’t worth...
You have to stay out of boost as much as possible. This goes for any turbo motor. I honestly hardly use cruise control. It doesn’t apply the throttle quick enough. I often lose 3-4 mph until it finally kicks in and down shifts and sucks fuel. When I anticipate hills (up or down) I save so much...
This motor is based off the modern European Lyon motor that has been proven to be reliable. What is not proven is if the modifications made by ford to make it suitable for truck use will hold up for people truly using it for a truck.
I own one and couldn’t be happier with it. There is such a...
