also, on the Mach-E thing, i think that was also a backplate supplier issue, because the backs of the first year Mach-E had the Mustang's silver pony instead of the design we know now. in fact, it was a Mustang part, as the part number of the keyfob for that time starts with "JR3Z"

yes, they are still giving 2 keyfobs. thats the part that makes me think this backplate change is temporary and possibly a supplier issue. if they wanted to cut costs, dropping a whole keyfob saves more money

i can definitely see why you are confused; that is very confusing. those mirrors 100% come with BLIS, my source is Ford's own electronic catalog system that Ford themselves runs and maintains/updates
