  1. Did Ford comeback with the factory installed secure code?

You can add the non-stick on style to the '25 SD's, so I assume you can do the same with the F150s. Just need the pad, the B-pillar trim piece, and FORScan. My '26 F350 has the returned pillar mounted Securicode pad. Didn't buy a '25 because it didn't, and I didn’t want the stick on garbage.
  2. Using FordPass drains your battery.

Well, I guess it's a good thing people are all entitled to their opinion. I've used it on multiple vehicles (mostly F-Series) for the past 10+ years without issue.
  3. Dealer transmission fluid change…

"They" recommend 150K miles because "they" want to make $7K to $10K replacing your transmission. Save up, I guess. FYI: Motorcraft ULV $5.19 a quart from RockAuto.
  4. Super 8.8 Gear oil?

Either will be fine. Using lighter weight diff oils will theoretically give you better fuel mileage but likely nothing you'll see real world. I used Valvoline full synthetic 75W-90 in my 2021 F150 Super 8.8. I use the "flex fill" bags, not the hard plastic quarts bottles. Best prices @...
  5. Documentation provided with new 2025 F150's

$6.64 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/CoBak-Car-Registration-Insurance-Holder/dp/B0C7727TB9 Some car dealers get these made with their logo/name/address/phone on them. I grabbed like 3-4 of them from one dealership that I test drove a truck at (but didn't even buy a truck there).
  6. Documentation provided with new 2025 F150's

Ford made 732,139 F150's last year and were on track for more than that until the Novelis fire. That's about $3.7M ... but I bet they cost more than $5 a book.
  7. Fordpass rewards for purchase of a new f150

    42,000 and 31,000. The cutoff was 10/1/2024.
  8. Fordpass rewards for purchase of a new f150

For purchases BEFORE 10/1/2024, you were eligible for 42,000 points per purchase (75,000 points for a diesel). For purchases after 10/1/2024, you get 31,000 points no matter what type of vehicle you purchase. What is the FordPass Rewards Program? From the date of purchase, you have 60 days to...
  9. Anyone's fuel door fall off?

People often left their gas caps on the pumps. For modern vehicles, when fuel systems aren't at the correct pressure, things don't work right. My '26 has a screw on fuel cap ... and DEF cap. ;)
  10. DEALER Transmission Fluid Exchange Experience (For What I's Worth...)

I no longer live on the east side. I've been out in the Brighton/Howell area since '2001.
  11. Another New Car in the Driveway

Not my experience. I've purchased two new vehicles in the last 2 weeks alone. Don't think I spent more than 10 minutes "getting numbers", and the only time spent with the F&I guy was to sign the purchase agreement, the title & registration paperwork and a few other required forms. I don't...
  12. Another New Car in the Driveway

That's crazy. My dealership has done a number of dealer trades to get the vehicle I wanted so that I didn't have to wait. In fact, the one I just picked up ~2 weeks ago came from an hour away. Back in 2014, they did a dealer trade for me to get a '14 Mustang GT ... from Kentucky (I live in...
  13. Another New Car in the Driveway

Excellent approach and excellent story. That's the way to build a good relationship, not just try to weasel your way to the cheapest price for one vehicle. Most people can not comprehend this approach.
  14. Another New Car in the Driveway

As you said, with all due respect ... maybe it's not just the dealerships?
  15. DEALER Transmission Fluid Exchange Experience (For What I's Worth...)

Well, you already did that, Mr. Macomb, MI (I used to live in Macomb Twp). Dorian Ford: Avoid like the plague. Russ Milne Ford or Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights: Nothing horribly bad about these two; bought my '24 Dark Horse from the latter, but never had service there.
