I swapped out the H6 (after the usual problems) with an H8 Walmart. All is good now. I cut the H6 blanket and opened it to wrap (most) of the H8. 2021 5.0 XLT
2021/5.0/XLT... I also put in a Walmart H8 battery Sunday... did the reset just in case... went thru 2 H6 (replaced on warranty) since end of '21... did the tender thing, etc. and running fine now... I even wedge the H6 blanket around the H8 battery... mostly! :D
Thank you for the insight. I do charge it up to "full" every week or so but it probably doesn't remain charged enough for the random times an update is coming in. The truck runs fine otherwise! ?
Thank you very much for your efforts and advice! I wonder if my ongoing battery drain plays a role here. I may see if I can get another warranty replacement... but that didn't help any the first-time.

Very nicely explained and good information. I have not had an update in the 2 years I've had my truck (I believe). The only other issue that I've had is the on going tired battery... second battery now (warranty replacement). I put a charger on it every week or two. It is usually under 12V+/-...
