I put Husky's on mine. Hit them with a little 303 and the snow just slides or pops off.....we're expecting 6-8 inches on Saturday :cautious:
EDIT.....we got 10 inches.
It is partially the frequency and duration of my driving, I drive 2, maybe 3 times a week for 10-20 minutes, but most of it is the BMS. I had the BMS unplugged on my 2019 Ranger 90% of the time --battery lasted 5 yrs with no issues. If this battery goes bad, I'll unplug it on this one too.
Replacing mine on a 18 month "old" 2024 5.0. Went with Walmart since they are everywhere and it came with a 4 yr warranty (EverStart Platinum H7). It's charging now and I'll put it in when it's charged, then attempt the BMS reset 🤞
I just got the "Check 12v Battery" notice on Ford pass. I put the Battery Tender on it for about 2 hrs and it said "fully charged"....not sure how to take that.
I had my Ranger for 5 years, and had the BMS plug next to the battery disconnected 90%+ of the time. Still had the factory battery...
@Redtruck Do you have a "SOURCES" button on the screen like in the pic (upper left side). I'm pretty sure that opens: AM/FM, Bluetooth, your phone, Sirius, etc.
Looks pretty good and can't wait for your review. I'd like to find a "cleaner / smoother" looking tube to attach to the stock air box.....the factory one is just hideous !!
To pass through.....the spindle ? I'd want something a little more precise if I was drilling / enlarging a hole on the spindle. Grabbing a drill and "hogging out" a hole seems super sketchy at best for a precision machined part.
I have it. Lowered it as advertised, 1.3 in front, 2.5 in back....not a huge difference, but definitely brought the ass end down. I added some factory 20x8.5" wheels and 275/55/20 tires. I'd add these to get better alignment---...
