Hey guys,
What does everyone recommend for an impact wrench for general automotive, home repair, etc? I don't want something unwieldy with huge torque. Just something that can break normal lug nuts, skid plate bolts, and general use around the house, in the garage, etc. Maybe 3/8s drive?
I can't believe I'm writing this but my unbelievably wonderful mother shit in the passenger seat of my week old Raptor. With the seat ventilation on. Hey, it happens. So far, I've had the seat professionally cleaned (steam, enzymatic solution, neutralizer, activated charcoal etc, etc.) We got to...
The Avalanche with moonroof is still available at 3k under msrp. Riverside Ford Macon, GA.
I felt that Ford did what they could to repair my 22 Lariat. I never felt I was lied to or pushed off. And my dealer is fairly easy to deal with and we've had a relationship for over 15 years. I didn't...
My 22 Lariat was one of those missing chip Covid trucks and it's been having endless module problems since new. I have a Ranger Raptor on order but my salesman called today and had two special order Raptors that the buyers already walked on due to long waits: an Avalanche with moonroof and...
When you are not at fault, your rates should not increase. How has your agent advised you? As for Geico asking you to inspect and assess your own vehicle, not even Geico's website says that. It says they send an adjuster to you or the collision shop. I would guess you are looking at about $5k in...
Insurance agent here. So, you shouldn't have gotten involved with Geico beyond this phrase: "Hi. You have on file the accident report. I'm taking the vehicle to the shop of my choice. Your adjuster will be hearing from them. Thanks." Never fill out anything, never sign anything, never accept...
So, which ones fit without any modifications? I've had a Cobb on backorder for a while and they still can't tell me if it fits 2021 and up. I know the CVFab v2 won't fit with the active air dam. I think the AMS requires cutting. Is there anything else I'm missing?
As someone with experience: Over 20 years ago I had a Miata and the quick lube place forgot to lighten the lugs. The wheels never came off but they paid to have Mazda inspect and replace some studs and gave me a few oil changes for a free... I never went back... I figured not much harm, not much...
Insurance agent here.. I seriously doubt it will be totaled. Get it to the best body shop you can, preferably one that is experienced with aluminum-bodied vehicles. Get an estimate from them. And let the at-fault drivers' adjuster inspect it there. Generally, the body shop is on your side. Watch...
