Bought a Chrysler Pacifica 2 years ago and it had the price.
Also seen Broncos and Mavericks that had them. It seems to be a F150 thing with this recent end-of-year batch.
I think that they have some decent rebates and don't want to show them.
There's probably 10+ Ford dealers here. I've gotten window stickers from 3 of them and they are all the same.
I think that Ford Corporate Puerto Rico is the shady one. They were recently advertising the new Bronco with a $20k+ markup. This was Ford Puerto Rico, not an individual dealership.
The one that went down to $53k was a gray one and I liked the black one the best. Found a black one and they started at $56k, offered $49k, they came down to $53.4k, I countered $51.8k and they asked what bank I'm pre-approved on but haven't said no. We'll see
I got the VIN for two of them and neither came up. Something fishy is going on here and it definitely involves Ford.
The federal law is pretty clear and PR cannot overrule such federal laws.
Did some reading and the price in the window sticker is required by federal law which definitely applies to Puerto Rico.
If anything Ford itself is being shady by printing window stickers like this. I'll call around tomorrow and ask for window stickers to see if they are all like that.
Looking to buy an F150 to get me through until I get my Lightning (2023-2024). Local dealers just got a bunch of F150 Sports and they are asking around $57k which is just around MSRP with taxes (MSRP as per Ford's configurator). Strangly the window stickers don't have any prices.
They being...
