What a great trip for you!. I did Daytona to Virginia Beach over Thanksgiving in our new F150 XLT 5.0. Even lifted on 35s we averaged 16-2 mpg for the entire trip. That, to me was pretty amazing. Most interesting part was stopping at Bucky's. What an adventure!

A bit nostalgic perhaps. After 86,000 miles, the old truck just felt more solid. We'll see how this one holds up. May change my mind.

It has a 6" lift from Rough Country with M1 struts . The tires are Toyo AT 3 12.50 35/20s . I had a BDS lift with Bilstein 5100s on my last truck and don't see that much difference in quality of materials and ride. The wheels are "proprietary" from Sherrod, but they look very similar to Fuel...
