I currently have two laptops.
1. I loaded the first laptop in early November and all was fine with FORscan until a couple days ago it is now blocked by smart app.
2. A newer laptop showed up today and FORscan loads and runs but smart app is still in the evaluation stage and once it goes to...
I suspect my old computer (4-5 years old) was turned off because I never had any issues. But the hardware is broken on that one so I cannot login to it to find out.
Thanks, I'll have to turn it off and depend on the other security features.
I can install it just fine. Actually ran when I first installed it and input my license key. But now it's no longer available to open.
See attached. I will have to disable this Windows feature but if I ever want it back I'd have to do a clean install of Windows to turn it back on.
Yeah I run Norton, but it isn't a Norton notification, it's a Windows app security notification.
There is an option to turn that feature off in privacy and security, but I'm not sure if there are any ramifications of doing so.
I got a new computer and installed FORscan and opened it and applied my license. Today I went to use it and it is being blocked by Win 11 app security. If I try to run as administrator it doesn't make any difference and I don't see anything in the file properties to change/unblock.
Any ideas?
Question for all of you, does the front end alignment require anything special if our trucks have adaptive features such as, cameras, lane keep, adaptive cruise control?
Calling around some shops won't touch alignment on my truck if it has these features. They tell me the "system" has to be...
Most everyone's startups at the last setting but I haven't found anything in Forscan to change it.
I did an ACM update in FDRS around October/November of last year and mine no longer starts at last setting. Mine now starts at 7 every time provided everything went to sleep but if you shut down...
Installed the moderate version of B2's exhaust. I haven't driven it yet except for putting it back into the garage but here is a clip of the startup sounds.
I believe that it is a Forscan change as I think they come with open activated (selectable via Sync) but not close. (Please note I am not a Forscan expert)
To activate global close:
BCM 726-11-02 xxx1 x0xx xxxx (global close w/press and hold the remote lock button)
BCM 726-11-02 xxx1 x1xx...
IIRC, was somewhere in the 22-25 degree maximum range and a post somewhere I saw a leveled 2021 with 14 degrees after a level kit. Since you didn't change suspension travel, I'm not sure you need to worry about the angle with a 2 inch kit. Ford doesn't publish the allowable angles that I found...
