I've had this a couple of times. Moving the fob from my left pocket to my right solves it though. Still seems a little too finicky.

Auto hold is off and it automatically engages parking brake when shifting into park on an incline. I haven't found a way to disable it either.

Mine did not have the felt cover.

?‍♂️ I prefer my phone higher up where I can see it so I use a different mount instead of the charger in the media bin. I'll have to try it out for a while and see how well it works.

Absolutely it works great. Happened to find the right SCCM on ebay, replaced the HVAC and updated with the forscan settings in this thread. I did have to get a pre-release version of forscan in order to connect- I don't know if that situation has changed and current versions support MY23 now?

Yeah, I am one. Can confirm the only thing required was the SCCM. All other components, wiring (minus the HVAC with button) was present in mine.

I saw this thread and happened to be installing the missing ambient lighting in my 23 today. I took the media bin out to cut a hole for a light so took a couple pictures. There is a cooling fan on the backside. Only the 2 far right holes go straight through. I assume there is space behind the...

The tabs on mine were broken off from the factory, so it's hard for me to give the correct technique. I assume they had a gorilla on the line smashing the cover on.

There are 2 12v batteries and you have to disconnect both. The one under the hood and the smaller one is under the passenger side rear seat.

The 23 isn't officially supported yet. I got a "Unable to identify the vehicle. Please contact developers" error. However, I emailed the dev with my forscan logs and I was sent back a test version that works just fine.

I spent some time trying to debug the same message. It turned out I just needed to enable "Wireless Android Auto" in the Android Auto settings on my phone.
