There's very little material that needs to be tucked. I'm 5'11" and don't have any issues reaching it. Having it lower on the bed looks better but having it raised is more functional as you do maintain full use of the bed and can still see out the rearview mirror.

We contemplated a trailer for a long time but ended up going with a rooftop tent. I've got a Pace Edwards retractable tonneau on the way too that's compatible with the rack. Ikamper 3.0 on a Leitner ACS Forged Modular rack.

It is not a tire problem. I'm on the third set of tires, and second set of rims, all road forced balanced and the vibration is still there. Its not your tires. Don't let the dealership waste your time and money on it being a tire problem.
