I found the problem, apparently posting to this forum is the culprit... Went on a camping trip out of state this past weekend and noticed my sync screen compass did not work at all. The dash compass was working the whole time though. Truck did great towing though.

about a month ago, I got an update and my dash compass has worked 100% of the time since. My sync compass did not work for at least 2 weeks after that. I tried the calibration process (driving in circles in the parking lot) and it did nothing. Then a couple weeks ago my sync compass just started...

Mine continues to go in and out. It will work for a couple days then stop for a couple days then work again. I am not having any other issues, so I plan to bring it up to the dealer at the first oil change but I'm probably a couple months away from that.

Follow up, was not working yesterday morning again on a short trip. Took another trip yesterday afternoon and it was working again, and also working this morning...

Nope, I was just going to post, took it out earlier today, was not working. If it continues I plan to try the calibration thing again later this week just to gather some info. My transmission temp gauge seems to be working, never noticed it wasn't. Not sure how important that is, just that some...
