Thanks for educating me on having one. I though I only needed to check it once an oil change. I live in Washington and it’s just now starting to warm up plus most of trips are quicker trips 2 miles down the road and back so the amount of extra crap in there makes sense.
it was since I bought...
Hey guys and gals,
I installed a catch can on my 24 PB last year when I bought it and just checked it. It was almost full!!! There were also chunks of stuff in there that were soft but I feel like shouldn’t be seeing chunks of oil mud in there. A little concerned because I only have 13889K on...
@SoundsGoodStereo Does your stealth series sub kit work properly for the powerboosts or am I better off piecing together my own?? Paying for the B&O unleashed system seems like it was a waste of money cause it's pretty disappointing, my tacoma's JBL system was way better than this is smh...
So when you got the camera, how many parts did you have to buy and how did you get it programmed using FORScan? I'm trying to do the same thing on my 24PB.
Has anyone played with the adaptive cruise control braking senstitivity? I want to turn down or off the activation for when cars are slowing down to turn so that my truck doesn't slow down to 10 mph for no reason. One of these days that's gonna get me rear-ended!
@SoundsGoodStereo I was just looking at your site for the stealth kit for my '24 SCREW Powerboost and the site says it won't fit my truck. I just want to verify if that's true or not. I'm looking to get more bass out of my unleashed system without adding all the sound proofing stuff.
So I am getting the hang of this FORScan thing and loving it. Now I'm running into seemingly basic issues. For example, when I try to do the global windows up I have gone through each block twice and double checked and also added/enabled the option in sync 4 but I can't get the windows to roll...
So I got the stud out but no one has the size I need in stock and the new cap I ordered comes in tomorrow so I basically did recreational maintenance. I ended up drilling out the stud. Even prying on it, heating the nut/stud separately, nothing else worked.
I have an impact. They put the torque the hardware so damn tight from the factory you need one to loosen anything. I haven't dove in to the endless well of suspension upgrades. But depending on how much just the shock is I might think about upgrading. My only hesitation is I've only had this...
Not bad ideas. I’m gonna go to harbor freight tomorrow and buy a strut spring compressor and take the cap off, the put it in a vice and see if I can squeeze the backside of the stud enough to keep it still while I impact the nut off.
