  1. In 4A or 4H does regenerative braking operate on all four wheels?

The technical answers you got in this thread earlier, but it took a while to get there. The answer to your important question about driving on icy roads is this. I have had my PB f150 for a year now. And have driven on really icy roads and on slick snow covered roads. I never once noticed any...
  2. Powerboost Oil Change

Cabin air filter on an F150 is about 5 min including the time to get to the fridge after you’re done and get a beer. Get the dealer to quote on them changing your wiper blades for a laugh.
  3. Winter is coming! How do you clear the snow on your vehicle??

Then that POS device will be perfect for your snow removal!
  4. Winter is coming! How do you clear the snow on your vehicle??

I have never seen anything so stupid in my life. OMFG.
  5. For Those Lamenting "Rising Truck Prices"

I love a good classic as much as any guy. But the reason “easy to fix” is nostalgically remembered is because they ALWAYS NEEDED FIXING. Ignition systems wore out. Steering gears wore out. Suspension parts wore out. Bodies rusted out. Yeah the motors lasted a long time, as long as you could...
  6. Eco vs Normal drive mode

I also find that eco mode and normal are about the same in terms of mpg. Very slightly better in eco sometimes. It does drop into electric mode earlier in eco mode, including when coasting or downhills. I ran the West Virginia route to Florida last winter and the thing stayed in electric mode...
  7. Where to place front dash cam

I bought one that fits over the mirror mount exactly like the OEM camera. IT works great. It’s this one: Fitcamx Front 4K+Rear 1080P Dash Cam Adapts for Ford F150 F250 2021-2025 Limited XLT XL Raptor Lariat Platinum King Ranch Tremor, OEM Look, Dual HD Video, WiFi&APP, Loop Recording...
  8. Need Opinions - How Safe is an Orbital Buffer?

Magic eraser? Damn. That’s basically extra fine sandpaper. Never on my vehicles. If it’s tar, one of the tar and bug removers might work. But sanding it off is not a great idea IMO. One thing I learned recently for pine sap and tree sap removal is methyl hydrate (alcohol). It wipes right off...
  9. Roof Rack options

I bought the Thule set from ford when I bought my F150. I use them for a double kayak too but I use a trailer hitch rack for the back end. I also have a headache bar but the kayak sits on the roof racks not the Back Rack although I use the back rack for a tie down point no pictures of the...
  10. What percent of your total miles are electric?

Interesting that your average speed is around 30mph for 20.6mpg and mine is about 35mph average for 20.5mpg. Your % electric is higher too. But overall mpg is remarkably consistent.
  11. What percent of your total miles are electric?

Just checked and looks like it reset so not lifetime. So 26% which is higher than I thought it would be. Probably 50/50 highway and town. I drive 70 to 80 on the highway. A lot of the in town is at 40mph which seems to be the sweet spot for it switching to electric and staying there for a while.
  12. Driver Wiper Chatter Help

Check to see if the blade arm has the blade at 90 degrees to the windshield. Sometimes ice/sticking can cause the arms to twist slightly, resulting in the blade not being at 90 degrees to the glass when it wipes. So when it’s pushing against the bend, it chatters, but when its wipes the other...
  13. High idle on cold start

I have noticed the high idle on my Powerboost when it’s cold. But I don’t wait to drive. Maybe just a few seconds to get my seatbelt on and put my phone on the charger. I just don’t gun it until I have driven a few miles. IMO driving a cold engine gently while it warms up is not going to...
  14. Where is this "pass through" from cab to bed for the Starkey bed light kit?

In case anyone is considering the STarkey OEM style bed lighting kit, mine continues to work perfectly. Also, I recently got an email from them saying they now have an OEM style bed on/off button kit that you can easily retro fit to their OEM lighting kit. It’s a bit pricy at about US$100...
