  1. YOU HAD ONE JOB!!!

Totally expected results given where the industry is. The terms "synthetic" and "standard" as it relates to engine oil were never that clearly distinct and defined but the situation got muddier decades ago with the Mobil / Castrol squabble. The term "full synthetic" certainly may not mean what...
  2. Any product to convert front tow hook to hitch receiver?

For that application, I don't know why it would be any different than having the stock hooks in place since - at least in my case - I'm using the stock bolts to hold the receiver to the frame.
  3. Any product to convert front tow hook to hitch receiver?

FWIW, I made this mod shortly after I got my 2021 three years ago and I push a 6400+lb. trailer around on my driveway (using only one of the receivers) without issue. I looked into tow hook specs and honestly I forget what I found but I did determine that the bolts would not fail. I'd...
  4. Highway MPG getting progressively worse

Third winter on my '21 PB. Winter MPG is definitely lower than summer. I wouldn't even think about MPG until next summer.
  5. Buying used certified 2023 Powerboost XLT

All I can say is I LOVE my '21 PB (42k miles). Great power, great fuel economy. I'm towing a new travel trailer now that is not a lightweight and I'm hoping I won't need to move up to a SD. I wish there was a hybrid option for the SDs but I know there's no incentive for that. Did I mention I...
  6. Disabling active air dam?

Disabled and removed without issue. I replaced my tow hooks with receivers and needed that space.
  7. Power reset for better MPG

I've owned my PB for over a year and have learned a lot about MPG and where it shines and where it's just a truck. First of all, if you want to learn more about how the PB manages power, EV Coach is helpful. It can help you drive within EV and regen modes. I get my best MPG on my commute...
  8. My Interview With Ford F-150 Engineers - Summary

Thanks for the sharing the details. FWIW, my XLT PB was made in late Feb and most of the axle, especially the center, looks like it was painted. While I was there, I touched up a few rust-ish spots on the ends, but my axle never looked like the earlier pics I saw.
  9. What kind of MPG mileage are you getting with your Powerboost?

I've had the thing for 8 days; replaced a 2010 5.4L so easy to beat in the mpg category. Drove a mixed bag of country 2 lane, 65 mph 4-lane, and rural small town stop-and-go. Averaged right at 26 mpg. Insane.
