Sold those junk Goodyear Wrangler Territory stock tires last night, thank goodness. Took nearly a month, but finally found a buyer.
Over the last week I got a bull hide liner sprayed in, solid material, but I should have made the near 4 hour trip to get Line-X instead. Currently the truck is...
Shoot, just show her the can of paint, the directions are on there hahahaha. But knowing what I do now, I would side with her...just follow the directions to "bake" it while its on the truck instead.
Yeah I get that. Guess I'll have to mess with my hands a bit. I tend to drive with one hand at about 5 o'clock and two hands during turns. I am starting to get a little better with it....guess I just need more practice haha.
Here is what I did all day yesterday haha. Painted chrome tip to flat black and turned my RMEF license plate holder from chrome to flat black (this was my tester, I have two new ones on the way). The tailpipe tip went like this: pulled off, 400 grit paper scuffed up in circular motion, primed...
Ok, this thread is awesome and y'all provided great info. My question is this, and maybe I missed it, but is anyone happy that when we are using BC, Lane centering or keeping you have to keep a dang death grip on these wheels or they start sounding off like jaws is about to pop out of the back...
Last yeah that feature wasn't available online till like January 2022. Even when I ordered my 22 in December 21, all I could do is get an estimate of what I was getting/wanting. Once I ordered at the dealership is when I saw things were no longer available or added that used to be options...
I agree about being OCD about that stuff. But all they did was the chrome part...none of the black texture. It was one of the pre-cut package they offer.
Thank you! I did some research and was happy with the reviews and recommendations I read. I am happy how it turned out and the 10 year warranty is good too. Figured I'd keep with it and do as much as I can afford, its pretty expensive.
Its hard to say right now. I put them on at 329 miles and now I am just shy of 700 miles. But, the difference between the Territory and Duratrac is not noticeable. Both got me right around 15.7 mpg in town driving in eco mode. Maybe these pics can show you better.
Most def up to you! You will be driving it day in and day out. Since you asked, I hate chrome and have started de-chroming my King Ranch piece by piece. I feel like chrome is trying to dress up a trailer park. I have owned three new trucks and the first two had chrome packages, this one is...
I kept them stock size at 275/65r18. I really did not want to sacrifice my gas mileage like I did with my 2014. The 2014 had a 2 inch level with 285/75r18. I was getting about 12.8 mpg...yuck (but it looked great haha)
Been pretty busy since I picked up the truck on 2 August, but I got a couple of things accomplished (sorry its long cause I dumped it all in at once). Caution, this King Ranch is NOT a Pavement Princess. Everything I've added has a purpose and supports my outdoor adventures during hunting...
