  1. Leaf On Windshield Shut Me Down

I regularly marvel at the incredible engineering in our vehicles today. Like all of the amazing technology in our lives, it is great when it works, but incredibly frustrating, and sometimes ridiculously expensive when it does not.
  2. Leaf On Windshield Shut Me Down

Hold up! I just realized that I did the exact same thing you did, when I read your post & replied earlier today. BOTH OF US did not clearly read what the other had written. I started off my original posting with "I jumped in my truck". I never said that I jumped off my truck. You misread my...
  3. Leaf On Windshield Shut Me Down

It may not have been the leaf that caused my problem. It was the only variable that I know about. Problem has not reoccurred in the last 2 weeks of daily driving.
  4. 🌧️ Automatic Rain Sense Wipers Upgrade: Rain or Shine, Drive with Confidence! (Infotainment.com)

I already have the rain sensing wiper & I am not a fan. I would like a way to disable the rain sensing, or at least adjust the sensitivity.
  5. Leaf On Windshield Shut Me Down

I jumped in my 22 XLT Powerboost last week, put it in reverse & backed out of my parking space, shifted to drive, & the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. The truck applied brakes, Pre-collision alert flashed, then multiple warnings & alerts popped up. A Pre-collision disabled warning, Pro...
  6. What percent of your total miles are electric?

A little better than 23%. Now approaching 60k miles on my 2022. I have averaged about 26mpg so far. I do drive like an old man, because i am one. Pic shows my regular daily commute to work.
  7. '22 vs '24 MPG difference

It took my 22 PB about 25k miles to get up to optimal fuel mileage. Now at 45k miles, lifetime fuel mileage has leveled off at about a consistent 25mpg hand measured. I do have a tonneau cover, original tires, & drive like an old man. All of the OP's descriptions of the truck regularly...
  8. Cookie Crumbs on Navigation

Can somebody advise me on how to remove the cookie crumbs off of the Navigation Screen, without a master reset? They are starting to take over the screen now that I have had my truck for a couple of years.
  9. Powerboost changes in 2024

I don't know how the electric to gas, or gas to electric transition can be any smoother than it already is on my 2022. I often can only tell by looking at the tachometer or oil pressure gauge, that the power source has changed. Thankfully, my truck also shifts gears really smoothly too. Some...
  10. Any good experiences from PowerBoost owners

Me Too! 35k in & a GREAT TRUCK SO FAR!
  11. Maximizing MPGs at high speed

This may get a rise out of some of you. I travel a 100 mile stretch of very rural & mostly flat interstate, back & forth on a regular once a week basis. I have found that drafting gets me about 25 - 26mpg on that run at about 70mph. That is to say that I will intentionally follow a larger...
  12. Finally - 700 mile club

    I regularly made 700+ miles on a 36 gallon tank with my 2015 302A 157" 4WD with the 3.5 Ecoboost & a 36 gallon tank. My 2019 RCLB 2WD with 5.0 motor, & 3.15 rear end averages 24.5mpg. My 2022 Powerboost 302A 157" 4WD averages about 27mpg on its 30.6 gallon tank & consistently shows 800+...
  13. Adaptive cruise control almost caused an accident

Thank you for reminding me! I will make a point of rechecking all of those settings. On the other hand, if it is not, the default settings really ought to be at the lower end of the range spectrum for safety's sake.
  14. Adaptive cruise control almost caused an accident

I have turned off these various settings myself. But as of now, I cannot fathom how the Cruise Control speed setting can change itself, without intentional input. If there is anyone who can enlighten me as to how I can insure that doesn't happen again, I would be very appreciative. It is...
