  1. Another broken Axle bolt

I personally have not experienced a broken bolt, but I thought we would have heard from Ford on what the recall remedy might be.
  2. Looking for most longevity/reliability f150 build?

This right here is why I chose an XL with a 5.0 with a few added options. Depending on where you live, I happen to live in NJ, and one thing I would pay close attention to if you want the vehicle to last your 20 to 25 years is the frame. I recently wound up junking a low mileage 2002 E150...
  3. Completely Unhappy Owner

OP, if the vehicle didn't have the options you really wanted, you should have considered leasing it.
  4. 5.0L V8 coyote vs 3.5 hybrid powerboost

An RV certainly changes things. If I want to go fast, I take out the 780 whp GT500.
  5. 5.0L V8 coyote vs 3.5 hybrid powerboost

If you plan to keep the vehicle for ten plus years, and can do your own wrenching, I'd go with the 5.0. If you lease or trade it in every 3 or 4 years, Power boost with the 7.2KW A/C power would be my choice.
  6. My 3 year 5.0 MPG real world.

Same setup as OP. 2023 with 9k miles, getting 20.6 since day one with 50/50 driving.
  7. How many windshields have you gone through?

People that tailgate have a tendency to go through more windshields.
  8. Paying for Nav ??

Renewed my nav for an average of 6.xx per month. I have an unpredictable work commute and prefer not to use phone apps. It doesn't seem like much when you have a 900+ monthly payment.
  9. Why the F-150 is unbeatable

Not to mention the Tundras look like dog shit.
  10. Question, To lend my truck or not

If he was that into sailing, he should have purchased his own truck by now.
  11. Rented a 5.0, some interesting notables

With my 2023 Supercrew, 6.5' bed, 373 rear, and 5.0 I'm averaging a combined 20.3 mpg from day one. Current mileage is about 6k with one oil change so far. Very pleased to say the least. My wife's puny Forester is only getting 26 mpg. She is a little heavy on the right foot, but still.
  12. How long do you plan on keeping your truck?

Keeping my 2023 5.0 V8 for at least 10 years.
  13. Oh boy, this doesnt sound good... Ford pauses production...

Crickets on the planned Tesla/CATL plant planned in Texas.
  14. Ford CEO Jim Farley Interview

You're not going to get 7.2KW power out of just an ICE vehicle.
  15. Ford CEO Jim Farley Interview

LOL! Wait until they see autonomous EV 18 wheelers barreling down the highways.
