I get the occasional wastegate actuator squeak. Very occasional. Like too infrequent to be mechanical, but noticeable enough for my wife to comment on it.
I'm no engineer, but my completely untested hypothesis is that it's just extremely brief whistling. A tiny window of time as the wastegate...
So did it successfully reapply the tune?
My tech support request from May 7th and a tune request I submitted on the 13th are both unanswered and I'm tired of driving in slug mode. ?

That page exhaustively covers both normal scenarios and recovery procedures for all models of obdlink on all platforms.
Shoutout to the makers of the OBDLink EX for having a well documented process for recovering from a firmware flash failure. Revived it and pulled my PCM info. 100% confirmation of tune overwrite.
Going to submit a device reset and tune request to Livernois.
No dice.
My curiosity got the best of me and I went out to the truck with my obdlink and laptop. Forscan wanted to update obdlink firmware. Crashed during update and now adapter is unresponsive ? . Comedy of errors
Unfortunately so am I. However during today's daily futile update check I did get a brief "updating device files" screen. Usually it asks to confirm updates. Time to go see if it can properly read codes and if so I'll try flashing the ECU.
I can't say 100% that all aspects of the tune are reverted, but I can tell you I only checked because I suspected something.
My laziness and curiosity are at odds here; I want to poke around in forscan but I know I can't fix anything doing so.
Can confirm it wipes livernois tune. I put in a support request. Haven't heard anything yet but I'm sure they're swamped with this and will get back to me once they've got a fix.
Check them for what?
Your post is confusing the shit out of me.
But to answer your question, warm humid air meeting cold glass seems to create condensation in my truck about the same as any other car I've had.
