Try doing generator mode with AC inside the car turned off. I seem to recall some people having better success with that.

I am confused, doesn't the truck know when the tailgate is opened? and trigger the alarm if it is opened with the doors locked?

So i posted this before I bought the truck. After I bought the truck, I created a ford pass account and without me doing anything, blue cruise started working. Go figure?

I have not, but on the test drive I did not see blue cruise as listed in the driver assist menu. Also, beacuse it was sold in canada, the window sticker does not mention blue cruise but it has the driver assist sensors for it.

Curious on this one, 1FTFW1EDXNFB01142 It was sold in canada. Since been imported to US. It has hardware for blue cruise, but no blue cruise installed. curious what it would take to get blue cruise loaded.

I also went looking at other platinums and it appears ones that were originally delivered in the US have blue cruise on the window sticker, IE...

I think this is one of the sensors? I also am not sure if blue cruise works in canada, but a regional lock seems plausible. Would strategy files be something I find on the vehicle?
