Well damn. I actually just put the fob in there and it wasn’t deep enough to actually hide the key. I didn’t know about using it for the low battery- could’ve used that once or twice with the 2015.

Mine has been in the shop since Feb 3rd. It took several week for the new transmission unit to come in and another 5 days or so for them to put it in. The Integrated Wheel End still has not come in. The service dept has been "working with Ford Engineers" throughout this whole ordeal. In my case...
We are having this problem too. We have 2 brand new, identical 2021 F150 Powerboosts. Mine did it about a month ago. At the same time, the 4x4 went out (only 8k miles). She’s been in the shop ever since. They’ve put in a while new transmission and are awaiting the part to fix the 4x4.
