Hi all. I started this thread. So, my axle bolt finally broke (passenger rear). I do have a spare bolt in my truck that I purchased a year ago. Has anyone ever heard of anything bad happening because of the sheared-off bolt head?

2022 PB XLT Max Tow The heat shield toward the rear of my truck is starting to fall. I have talked with two other owners who have had theirs fall off completely. Any suggestions for securing this? I would rather not wait for an appt at the dealer.

@Jesse-Infotainment Thanks for the suggestion to reconfigure the RCM to the new seat config along with the cluster. How would I do that?

Here is the truck-side connector that doesn't have anything to connect to. I'm wondering if I could just buy something to plug into this. Thoughts?

@purpoise hork i'm not sure what i did in relation to the keys (on/off) ... i might have turned the car on at some point. i definitely did not disconnect 12v power during the de-installation. @dolsen when you suggest to double check the connections, what connections were you talking about...

Hey folks, Yesterday, I removed the both rear seats (passenger and driver) of my 2022 F150 (Powerboost XLT). When I drove it today, I noticed that the airbag light is always on. This wasn't happening before I removed the rear seats. I assume that the airbag light is from a disconnected...

How does everyone approach software updates? Do you accepts them all automatically, wait to see if they are stable, or never update?? I've read about people who regret doing some of the updates, so I'm just trying to figure out how to approach this. The Ford app is trying to get me update to...

@Buyer2021 You make a really good point. If I'm going to trouble of having the dealer look at this, I'd want to really confirm that it's entirely correct, which they have (ostensibly) the expertise to do. Could you estimate how long it might take to have a qualified technician do this work...

Thank you all for the comments and especially the pictures. @imnuts @speedracercjr I would prefer not to have this exposed metal divots, but I'm going to accept the divots as a manufacturing flaw ... but not a major one that would affect the performance of the cover in any significant way...

@powerboater yes. this is exactly what i was thinking .... and the basic approach laid out in the video. do you see any safety issues with this?
