They should make a T connector pigtail so you can plug this in without having to disconnect the wiring to the 7-way trailer harness. Except, how are you going to hook up your trailer to the light that replaces your tow hook? Light has to be removed..

Yes, put it on the charger! I got back from a two week trip recently to an absolutely dead truck. Had to use the key to open the door. It was a one month old OEM (in engine compartment) battery. Truck had driven 600 miles the day before so it was fully charged.. ended up having to jumpstart it...

Might be a stupid question, my battery has run down due to the car standing for three weeks if I can get a jumpstart is it possible to charge the battery with the battery tender utilizing my 7.2 kW generator?

My TCU (among other modules) dumped when I had the battery low issue (even after charging the bad battery). Once the new battery was installed it fixed itself..??‍♂️

Update, TCU reset (using forscan) did not fix the issue however did find numerous DTC codes that have populated.. Guess its dealership time??‍♂️
