Got a similar kit now and still can’t figure it out. Have tried putting the tools in the front/back/above/below/both and these pins just won’t seem to unlock. Spent a full 2 hours just trying to get 1 out ?

Nope. Didn’t want to buy a whole new mirror. Used some Gorilla Patch and Seal (very thick black waterproof tape) just to seal it for water getting in. Doesn’t look THAT bad ?
