I use a small Faraday bag to keep the second one in and hide it in the cab of the truck. That way I don't need to find the wife if I lose my keys while I'm out.

They lock in place. You can't just bump them. Used them on every vehicle for 15years, no issues including off road.

Sorry, I was replying to Hullguy's post with the picture of his Chinese toaster which is misleading. As long as the house ground is intact all appliances in the house are just as safe as they were when power was provided by the utility company.

If you turn on the rear view camera while using lane assist you might be surprised how centered it is. Just personal experience, but I found mine to be a lot closer to center than it felt from the driver's seat.

Likely popped the 125A fuse. I've driven around for a couple of days without it, but it should be checked and replaced if needed. It's a PIA to replace. It's only needed when the traditional started is used, almost never, but will eventually cause faults. Otherwise I doubt he damaged...

Turn on the the generator mode.

Worked fine. Not sure if the difference is in the softstart or the A/C. YMMV.

Used an AirGo Softstart on our 3.5T. Just another option.

Jack the corner up and take off the wheel is the easiest way. I replaced mine during a tire rotation.
