Awesome! I was one of the 4 trucks having trouble as well. Similar experience to yours minus the USB module issues. Finally was able to get updated as far as I could.

That’s correct. FDRS just ran the APIM update as it would have normally, no error messages or anything. I didn’t have to do anything any different from the normal procedure.
After getting stuck at 22087, I decided to just go for it and give the above a try this morning. I removed the negative battery cable for 20 minutes, purchased the 2 day subscription, reconnected and low and behold it worked! I had another APIM update or two and a couple GWM and TCU updates that...
Yep. Updates were rolling along pretty quick and easy until this one popped up. Below is the pop up message I was receiving. I have not tried anything else at this point since it popped up either.
I did have another ‘21 a few years ago that did eventually get the full screen CarPlay update, I don’t know the exact version it had though. I do think it was probably a later model ‘21 vs the one I have now.
