This same thing just happened to me this weekend. I pulled the fuse and now I'm debating next steps to take, hoping to not have to take it to the dealer. Did you ever find a cause/fix?

Ah I didn't realize there was a port in the bumper for that, or that those cameras were so pricey!

I tried searching this site for info on this and didn't find any, but has anybody rigged up an additional camera to be able to view the backseat on the truck's display? I think I read a couple of years ago that the axillary camera option could be used for this, but I haven't seen anything since...

My issue is now resolved too! I didn't get an OTA update recently (apparently it kept being sent to the truck, but the install kept failing) but I did some updates manually with the mongoose adapter. I'm pretty sure it was updating the APIM to the newest version that did it. No more stuttering...
