Thank you for the reply! I searched around a bit before posting and I didn’t see anything which is why I asked. I had a feeling it was probably special for the raptor. Oh well can’t have everything lol
Hello all!
I got a look at a 2022 Raptor and the cluster seemed to have some neat options that my 2021 F150 PB doesn’t have like a volt meter and vacuum guage on the turbo boost guage. Does anyone know if this can be done in forscan? I am wondering if there is a whole raptor cluster theme...
I completely agree with you. These dealerships have no real standard operating procedures. I have had several BMWs, and like it or not their service department runs like a well oiled machine. It wouldn’t be hard for Ford to do the same, but like I said it all comes down to SOPs or the lack...
I’ll bet that’s exactly what they did. I am confident that you will be in good shape once they get you all updated. Mine is night and day and after all we have the same systems in our trucks. Good luck on getting yours sorted out!
Happy 4th Everyone!
I got to take the truck on a trip over the weekend and I have had zero shuddering whatsoever. The truck got excellent milage and ran like a top. The ride was the same route (lots of hills) that the truck shuddered terribly on my last trip before the re-flash was done. When...
So what you actually mean is that you will act interested but in reality just waste someone else’s time just like you did mine. My truck would not be fixed if it was not for members of this forum (excluding your account) who actually informed me about the fix for my truck.
I am glad that others are starting to have good results with the update. I am very happy with mine! Only issue I am having is that all warning sounds are now coming from the instrument cluster, not the speakers and sound like they are from a 2007 Ford Focus ?
I ran the truck a good bit yesterday evening and today and it is still running great. Had a goofy shift one time, but it is still learning. Very happy with the outcome. It’s nice to be able to say that I’m happy with my purchase. Good luck to everyone else.
Good news! I just had my Powerboost updated this morning. I took it out and put some miles on it. I have to say, I am impressed. I could not get the slightest shudder out of it when going up a hill at 50-70 in 10th 9th or 8th. Feels like a whole different truck. My fuel milage is exactly...
It sounds like your issue is a bit different than the majority of us are experiencing. Sounds like you have a pretty solid misfire that is happening at low speeds as well. Most of our “shuddering” occurs 8-9-10 gear while climbing an incline at 50-70 mph. My truck has never had any issues in...
Any updates regarding the software update? Any info is appreciated! I’m about ready to start the buyback process if this isn’t fixed soon. I have friends that have these trucks as well and I will tell them all to do the same. Predictably, Ford contacted me and never followed up.
Thanks
I am glad to hear that a possible fix is in the making. I really hope that it is released sooner than later as this shuddering is really getting on my last nerve.
I second that, please update us when you get it replaced. I am going to take one for the team and throw on 6 new coil packs. I got them for 13 bucks each on rock auto, so it’s not too much of an investment. I already replaced the plugs to no avail. The dealer can only get me in on the 19th...
I am having the same vibration/shudder issue with my 2022. Seems to be worse when approaching a hill with cruise control on than it does with it off. Talked to the dealership and they don’t have a clue where to start. What gives???
