My dealer got the parts in and replaced the axles all under warranty. It only took them a few hours to do the work. I did not get to see the axles, to see if the spline was indeed worn. I have a two new bolts on my tool box as insurance just in case the bolts break again.

I really did not want to turn off speed sign recognition, only as a last resort. Where my truck is suddenly changing speed is not posted with any signs. As per a suggestion I turned off speed warning which did not help my problem. Thanks for the input.

Unfortunately disabling the speed limit assist did not change the system from slowing down suddenly. The one spot was a construction zone a few years back. Some how the system still thinks that it is? Thanks for everyones input. Must be a software issue using some old map data?

I took my truck in to get the Axle spline looked at after I drilled out the bolt and replaced it with a new one. They took the truck and filled out the paperwork. The dealer said they looked at it and put it back together. They ordered a new axle assembly which comes with the hub, bolt, axle and...

It is covered by warranty but there is no rental car, and they will only replace parts they see fit, instead of replacing both axles and bolts ect. I am hoping I dont loose my truck for a long period of time due to parts being out of stock.
