Signed today! A few pics of the new rig. Happy to see the heavy duty payload package delivered as advertised! Fingers crossed for everyone else still waiting.
Chat and dealer both say truck arrived at a rail yard in SLC and waiting for transport to the dealer (also in SLC). Maybe next week sometime? Starting to get excited…
They’d be pumped or you’d be pumped? Haha I hope it happens for you guys!
i got two emails back to back from ford yesterday. The first that the vehicle has been built and the second that it’s shipped with an ETA 8/11 to 8/17. Shipped box is still unchecked on the tracker (confirming the...
Blend date was 7/22 for a 4x4 XLT supercrew with HDPP. No action on Friday but today the Ford Tracker now reads in production “7/24/2022” and a whole bunch of modules are populated. Progress!
Funny how different people’s tolerance levels are for the hitting the max payload. We figured we would be cutting it close with our build and our camper weighs a lot less than yours! I’m hoping the door sticker will be 2500 lbs. Our hawk is dry 1350 and with 26 gal water 1550. Two humans and an...
Copilot assist (adaptive cruise control and lane centering) has already been removed from lower down models so I wouldn’t count on it sticking around for the fancy models
unless you’re looking for used the FWC lead times are also absurd right now. We put an order for a hawk in December and were quoted 16 months. We figured it would give us plenty of time to find and buy a truck (but after seeing the experiences of some on this forum now I’m not so sure haha)...
congrats!!! Did you have 360 copilot? Do you know if it’s still on your build? I originally had it and got an updated build sheet from my dealer with it removed (deleted rather than as an additional “force removal” line item like Sirius and auto start/stop)
Yeah but if I went with a ram or gmc we would upgrade to a 2500 cause we need the payload. I feel more optimistic about being able to snag one of those off a lot (at least based on the find a ram feature on dodge website). It seems much more rare to see an f150 with heavy duty payload package...
Yeah we are buying the truck for a slide in camper so we need the extra payload. We test drove the ram 2500 and didn’t quite like it as much as the f150 but now that all the options are getting stripped the 2500 is starting to look better…
