I’ve suspected some kind of transmitter device coming from the light rail but could be a number of things like police communication relays, emissions testing, or there is also a hospital not far from where it cuts out for me.

Yup happens in my Bronco every time I use the on / off ramps by me. Clearly something governmental uses the same frequency that wireless CarPlay is on.

App started working again the following day and has been good since. I cancelled. the service appointment. I'm wondering if maybe the issues was I wasn't driving it enough for the battery to sufficiently charge. Plan is to throw on a trickle charger and see if I run into any more issues.

FordPass app quit working again today. Scheduled another service appointment. Getting close to lemon law buy back. Was out driving yesterday when the truck made an alert tone - no error lights and no alert in FordPass but this morning I noticed the truck is no longer responding to the app.

Was able to activate without issue today. Turns out they also replaced my battery on top of doing the almost 10hrs worth of updates.

Dealer actually got back to me later on in the day to let me know it’s fixed. They said it took 9.5hrs of updates to fix. I’ll go pick it up in the morning but activation on the app looks promising now since I got past the failure and it’s wanting me to acknowledge a prompt on sync.

Quick update for anyone experiencing the issue. My truck has been with the dealership for a week now. There’s no way to tell for sure but I’d guess they only started looking at it yesterday. Since I don’t have forscan yet, I have a service appointment setup for Thursday. If they can fix, I’ll post an update.

Not a bad idea. You’re absolutely right, I would have never ordered if I thought I would pay above 2%.

Got a call last Tuesday my truck was ready for pickup. Told them I’ll swing by Saturday. Checked mail Friday and found a 2k off offer from Ford. This offset the interest rate bump that went from O to 1.9 while I was awaiting delivery.
