Difference is that I actually already waited 6 months and so did everyone else in this build week with many still waiting. I'm pretty sure that at this point no one in our build week is going to feel bad for you. Come back in 4 months or so.
That should be good news for you. When mine changed to ASN, the Ford tracker updated to Built status 2 days later and the truck got shipped approximately a week after that. Hopefully yours follows similar timeline
As I expected Ford missed the May 3 delivery ETA. Tracker updated earlier this week to show new delivery ETA between May 10 and 16. Dealer contacted me on Thursday and said that my truck is already in Toronto so just needs to make it to them from rail yard. Today tracker updated again with...
That's not necessarily true. I had ETA of Apr 27 - May 3 since February and I had Ford customer service reps tell me that this ETA is for delivery to dealership but also a couple told me that this is when the truck is scheduled to be finished. In my case the truck was completed about a week...
This whole "it was built on ...., it's just waiting on chips" thing must be part of Ford's training program for their sales staff. My sales guy used the exact same line last month when my truck was still on hold. I guess they have a different definition of built from everyone else
I'm sure this sucks for you but calm down, you've been waiting only 3 months. Many of us have ordered our trucks way before you and we're still waiting.
Your tracker should update to 'Built' in next day or two. For me ordertrack changed to ASN on Friday (Apr 22) and tracker changed yesterday (Apr 25) showing build date Apr 23.
Finally some updates for me. Official Ford tracker shows built date 4/23/22. Ford Canada gave me ETA a while ago of Apr 27-May 3. I still don't think they'll hit that window but at least I'm seeing progress for the first time since January.
