Thanks man i truly appreciate it. I'm going to try your suggestions tomorrow and keep on driving it.
Funny enough, i went and sat in a 2024 Lariat the other day and didn't feel as uncomfortable as my 2023.
I'm just glad to find someone having a similar problem. I'm going crazy over here thinking something is wrong with me.
Its been bad enough that i developed a bit of sciatic pain
Thanks man. Yeah i was looking at adding some kind of cover to the brake pedal that was maybe wider somehow. I'm going to try your suggestions and see how that feels!
Its a crew cab and does have the center console. I like the idea of putting something there to angle my knee better, i'm going to try it tomorrow. Yeah really when i brake, my leg is angled significantly to the left. In any other vehicle, my leg stays straight, just my heel rotates but i can't...
I also considered the welding thing! Man this is crazy. I did buy it used and it has a 12 month comprehensive warranty, my next step is taking it to a Ford dealership and seeing it they can find anything. I can understand feeling discomfort after driving for hours but i am in serious pain after...
i think my biggest issue is when i go from the gas pedal to the brake pedal, with the brake pedal being further to the left, my leg is at a weird angle to reach it. Repeatedly angling my leg like this i think is the issue. If i could adjust the pedals to shift vertically just a few inches, i...
Unfortunately i agree. The brake pedal is over an inch further to the left than 2 different vehicles i measured. Doesn't seem like much but it does affect the ergonomics. Really disappointed about it as i love the truck but i am not sure what to do.
As for the brake pedal height, i have found...
I am not, really i drive it maybe 30 mins a day. Always an ache in my inner thigh and above my knee.
I drive my 2018 F150 work truck daily for hours with no issues. I drive my wife's RAV4 with no issues.
As soon as i hop in my personal F150, 10 mins later and i am aching and in pain. It is...
Did you ever look into this issue or just get used to it? My 2018 work F150 is fine, my 2023 definitely has the brake pedal too far to the left. Unfortunately its been a pain to drive
I think i'm definitely going to try that route! I'm pretty familiar with taking the seat out and removing the cloth, i'm assuming i would just need some kind of spray on adhesive for the new foam.
Haha 220 isn't bad at all man.
Yeah i was just curious, kind of weird how the seat just has a big gap in it right where you sit on it. It kind of makes sense the foam would sag through this hole after its been worn out a bit which i think is my problem
