Bringing this thread back to life, like the OP I am interested in upgrading the sound system for my '23 XLT. I'm not an audiophile and all the technical terminology and various levers/pulleys you can play with seem intimidating. At the end of the day I just want better sounding speakers.

Yup, something of this tier/caliber feels like ransomware. Obviously until we get confirmation it's only speculation. I am interested to hear how initial access was obtained on the CDK network.
A lot of time it really just comes down to a simple weak password on an employee's account where MFA...
Joined this forum a little while ago to aide in my research when searching for a new truck. Today I drove off the lot with my first truck! Already got floorliners on the way and excited to start digging into basic mods I can do to this thing!
2023 XLT 302A, 2.7L Ecoboost. Sport Appearance package.
I work in Cybersecurity and I was actually out shopping for a truck on the day the cyber attacks happened (how ironic).
The dealer was still able to process my credit (They had a secondary system available) and was able to complete the delivery paperwork in person today so I was able to drive...
It was a '23 lariat, 501A with trailer tow package + spray-in bedliner, 36 gal tank. Agreed with the XLT point, but I figure if I can get a deal on a lariat why not right :)
Yeah I agree, I knew my number was going to be lower - but that's what I wanted to do, start low and whatnot. If they would've countered close it's pretty likely I would've just gone for it. Next call I make I'll try to take notes from your comment and see if I can get a decent deal. If they're...
Yeah I offered a dealer about 12k off msrp as an opening offer earlier today - they didn't want anything to do with my offer unfortunately. No counter, basically ran me off the phone it felt like lol. I know 12k is alot off MSRP but seems like folks here are getting good deals so I thought I'd...
wow thats awesome! I actually just had a similar call with a dealer. '23 lariat with the 3.5L and Tow trailer package. MSRP of 67k, they're asking 60 for it. I called, basically said the same as you "based on some research"..."It's been sitting for awhile etc etc" Im looking for 55k for the...
Wow thats awesome. Here I am hoping I'll be able to negotiate 2k off the sticker price. As a first time truck-buyer that gives me some confidence I may be able to talk them down a little more
Appreciate the advice, I agree, I am looking to go for a '23 banking on the fact I can get something way under MSRP. My question for you is, how do you initiate this conversation, what type of evidence did you reference to come up with your 58k offer? I have to imagine walking in and saying "hey...
Nice!! That's essentially the type of deal I'm looking to get. If you have any tips on negotiation I'd appreciate it. I know some dealers around me are offering the 1.9% so if I can get any more off the sticker I'll be happy
Yup exactly why I started looking for '23's, then a few 2024s popped up and I realized some of them were only a few grand extra which sparked my whole dilemma. I think the best deal in this situation though will be going with a '23. fingers crossed
I haven't done too much research quite yet into the 4A driving mode on the lariats, but if thats the case (it's considerably better in snow than normal 4WD) then yeah I'd definitely like to have that option
Appreciate the reply, yeah I think at this point Im happy with any of the trucks and options so the best deal is what I will aim for. If a nicely spec'd '23 is cheaper than a lower spec'd '24 then perhaps I'll just snag that
