I have to ask, how much did they charge you for the new fob and deactivation? I wouldn't be to thrilled about a missing fob either, especially if it happened in an area that the vehicle is likely to return and sit unattended often. Good call on your part!

So I have to ask...it says that you can program up to 4 fobs. The devils advocate in me has to wonder, what do you have to do if you need to program more than 4? Is there a way to remove fobs that are no longer/lost to free up space or is this another trip to the dealer?

Interesting, its probably worth picking up/programming another fob just to insure that I still have 2 on hand incase 1 goes missing. I just assumed that a new fob could be programmed using forscan or something of the like after the fact.

Maybe throw a charger/maintainer on it and see where it gets you...
