How much of this is functional on the MY23?

Got me looking at an expedition or a suburban if I’m going to have a truck for camping. the ability to seal and protect from the elements and dust sucks.

Because a harder bolt is likely not the answer. It’s not a tensile break. If it is and not showing elongation, then other factors are at play.

I’d like to see the actual stress analysis documentation. pretty sure we’d see that material is unneeded.

If all your doing is city driving, if you’re getting close to 15, that’s pretty good really. takes a lot of power to get 6000 lbs moving every block some days when you get them lights wrong

I’m thinking that the center of the washer needs to be opened up so it’s not tight on the bolt threads

If it was an over torque situation it would be a tensile break, not a sheer break.

I’m curious how tight that washer is in the hub. does it seem more sheared? Or tensile break?

Sounds like it would cheap and quick to just have it replaced with a new bolt regardless

Just to lighten the mood… all those lariat, limited or packages etc cost you big time. XL 157” WB 5.0 3.73 e-locker. GVWR is 7850# built specifically for payload This is replacing my 2020 XLT I’m maxed out on the 7050 GVWR and this now give me about 750 lbs payload to put into the bed...

Betcha it’s the running boards… I ordered mine without them.
