I recently went from the standard Goodyear 265/70/18 SL tires on my 2023 F 150 to 275/70/18 SL Nitto Terra Grappler G3. I know there is a slight tire weight increase but I went from 19.5 to 16.9 MPG. My driving habits haven’t changed
Is this normal?
This is exactly the situation I’m in. I wish the Terra Grapplers came in 295/70/18 in an SL rating.
The Recons look more aggressive, but I hear the Terra are better all around, especially in wet conditions. Trying to decide if I want to sacrifice some functionality for looks or keep almost...
Do you tow or carry a lot of load? I am thinking of running E tires on my truck but I don’t really carry a payload. Not sure how it will mess with the ride quality.
I am considering some Nitto tires, that the size I want only come in a Load Range E. I’ve never owned anything other than an SL since I don’t tow or carry large loads.
Are there any downsides to having an E (10 ply) tire? How does it ride?
How are they? I am interested in Terra Grapplers, and the size I want come in an E rating. I hardy tow but I do like the size. Not sure how the ride is for a 10 ply tire
