You are totally right. Your design is perfect and clean but in my case I am using the car a lot in desert on a high speed and bumps always so am afraid the magnet will not handle the hard bumps that is the issue. If you could design the expedition shifter I will be honest to be the first one...

In my opinion Satin Black will be awesome. Also, did you have to remove the AC panel to get the shifter out? In my case I removed it but did not check if I can get the shifter out without removing the AC panel.

Working like a charm since day one. No failure No codes. Installed new 2022 Expedition shifter. Best Mode I did in the last 4 years.

It will not fit. I have 2021 Lariat and bought the raptor steering wheel long time ago. Its definitely not the same under the air bag.
