Well, i got interesting news to report. I did module resets, ended up getting my version numbers back and it started downloading the update again like were back to square one....

I haven't done a master or soft reset of it yet, I thought about trying a module reset either apim or gwm in Forscan, but I didn't know if that would cause issues since supposedly its trying to perform an update.

I couldn't agree more with ya. Do you think my sync version/revision would still be blank if the update took though? I've had the vehicle communications turned off and that was my ticket to get out of update limbo (i.e got version numbers back) to get the update to kick off initially, but I...

So on my check for updates, it'll think for like 5-10 seconds and then say software is up to date, but displays no other info. For the drive I'm currently using, my partition style is MBR.

FDRS writes to the usb correctly, it's when I plug the usb into my center console usb slot, the screen says it detects the drive, and twice the download will start on the infotainment center, but will freeze at 5%.

Does anyone know what the standard procedure would be in place of the module repair is? Or am I stuck waiting upwards of a month to see if it kicks off? I'm slightly concerned with it because of the update refusing to download/copy over from the usb drive, just getting stuck at 5% after an hour...
