On my 2022 F150 xlt I clipped the passenger side mirror backing up into a fence post and found an after market online that I ordered , I’m going to replace it myself once I find a YouTube but was wondering as the body shop said it would need to be calibrated, is this accurate? Thanks

Hi I have to pickup a large flatbed trailer for my son , 3700 lbs , I’ll be pulling on a busy hiway 4 hours , it has electric brakes . I have a 2022 Ford F150 with the tow package . Any advice for pulling it would be appreciated, no experience pulling other than a popup camper . Thanks

The magnets on both brakes were disconnected from the wires , the entire backplate setup and brake pads were actually in excellent condition, I think the previous owner just never got the brakes adjusted up.

Thanks got it all sorted out, the electric brakes were shot even though they had never been used. Working fine now with the new brakes.

I agree 100% it’s looking like a problem with the trailer , I know the previous owner owned the trailer for 12 years and never used the electric brakes and she said the owner that bought it new in 2010 had never used the electric brakes but did have the option included. Did a few more tests...

I connect trailer and plug in 7 pin , jump in truck and get message Cross Traffic Alert Deactivated Trailer Attached and I hit Ok truck then tells me to select trailer and I select Pony and when I attempt to setup brake gain I get message Trailer Disconnected.
