You need a new dealer. Took my dealer less than 2 hours to install in my wife's Explorer, I supplied the Ford part even. They use Fords FDRS for programming. Your dealer is looking to make the same money for the stick on that also has to be programmed.
Today my Malwarebytes alerted to 2 issues on my laptop: both were Forscan related. One was the EXE file in the Forscan folder and the other was the Forscan link on my homepage.

BTW for those above discussing the location, I initially wanted the front forward knob, but almost immediately with the rear knob location in, it felt very, very natural.
