My 2021 XLT Super Crew came with OE Michelins and they were terrible in the snow. I replaced them with Continental Terrain Contact A/Ts. The ride is great and very quiet. The snow traction is much better than the OE tires. Wet traction is also excellent. I would buy these again.
It's nice to see @Ford Motor Company has finally started to roll out a fix to so many that have beed suffering with poor sound quality for months. I hope a lesson has been learned here and future updates are better tested.
I received this one yesterday and I was a little nervous to say the least but it installed without a hitch and the 8 speaker B&O audio system sounds the way it's supposed to.
I had the same problem with my 2021 SuperCrew. The cowl drain was clogged on the right side causing water to pour into the HVAC fresh air intake. The PCM would have been submerged if the water got any deeper. Poor design @Ford Motor Company.
I replaced my OE Michelins with the Continental Terrain Contact A/Ts. They ride as good and are just as quiet as the Michelins but they are much better in the rain and snow. No hit to the MPGs either.

Welcome to the group and the “failed audio update club”. I’d call the Ford Customer Relations center (800-392-Ford) and ask to speak to someone in the OTA update group and let them know your truck is impacted. The hope is that the more people call, the sooner this gets fixed.
