Slapped on some Husky mud flaps (sorry the truck is so filthy). I like the way they fit and the size goes well with the Shelby wheel offset, imo

I'm in the same boat. Thankfully a low mortgage rate from many years ago, but living in MA (like you) our taxes keep inflating my monthly payments while providing less and less services in our State and town. But I digress... Were we talking about trucks? :ROFLMAO:

It's all relative, though. Inflation outpacing wages during "covid" were way more severe than the wages trying to catch up to the inflation. We are still not being paid enough to compensate for the intense inflation now. We are all behind the curve here. And the price gouging that happened...

While I agree with being easy to fix in the parts store parking lot (or it used to be, because they don't "stock" parts for old cars any longer), rebuilding an engine for $550 is a pipe dream nowadays, lol. You're gonna have to trust me on that one.

I have an original 1950 F-1 pickup....real simple, easy to fix and keep running...as a daily? Heck no. Also have a more resto-modded 1965 Galaxie (modernized chassis and suspension, brand new built 390 and 4 speed). Easier to drive than the old pickup. Great reliable cruiser. As a daily? Heck...

I have not. I actually refuse to bring the truck to a dealer for this because of what I KNOW they will say. "It's the tires" It's not consistent, it has nothing to do with rims (two diff sets), tires (two diff brands), or tire position. It's either rear axle related (most likely) or...

Do you plan on going with a wider tire or different offset rim? Otherwise those fender flares (even slight ones) will bury those tires in the wheel well. I dig the color, too. But if you do go with them on that color, I'd paint them.

Yours seemed extra lifted in the rear. Looks much better with them removed. Now let's hear about that old Mustang 😉
