Hopefully they bring back zone lighting in an update. One positive thing, could be just me, but actions are completed MUCH faster. Lock / Unlock / remote start. Happy it's free, wasn't worth paying Toyota $15 a month for the app on my Highlander.
Got around to installing the XLT grill lights. Easy job 30 - 45 mins. Most tedious part is removing the trim clips off the plastic cover to gain access behind the grill and run wiring. Good quality wiring harness. Should I stick with the 5 or go with the center 3? Easy to remove / put back in to...
Mine updated to 3.5.3.2 today. May be a coincidence, but I reset my Sync (press and hold pwr and skip buttons) in the parking lot before work and when I came out after shift it was updated.
Hi all, I received these grill lights as a Christmas gift from my sister.
He put in 3, looking for your opinions on doing all 5, 3 center, or center and outside 2. Wiring harness looks to be good quality, easy install / removal if it's not for me.
Not much for functionality of the truck, but if you have a water softener, grab 6 bags 240 lbs or so. Double bag them and put over the axle. Slippery mode is nice in 2h and 4h, but doing this definitely made a difference for me. Plus, you'll use it up when you don't need it in the spring ??
Sharp truck! If your looking for something else easy to set up / play with, search "fog lights aimed like crap" on this forum. I wasn't even sure mine were functional until I read that thread. Not sure about 23s but on my 22 they were aimed way low.
Yep, wouldn't really call it a close call, but the BSM / cross traffic alert stopped the truck backing out of a tight spot. Wouldn't have been able to see the guy coming down the parking lot without it. More valuable to me in that situation than driving on the highway where I can check my own...
Thanks for this thread. Used a 10mm deep socket and extension, easy to turn by hand this way. I didn't remove wheel well liner screws or turn the wheels to gain access, just look at the pictures posted here and you can see where to adjust. I'd recommend gloves / long sleeves as there's a few...
System sounds pretty good and I realize the speakers / amp / sub can be upgraded. I'm putting $ towards wheel well liners, tires, etc. Settings are limited, but I'm sure one of you has much more audio knowledge than me. Surround or stereo? Bass, mid, treble levels? Post a pic of your settings...
Exactly this when I was buying mine, kept moving my glasses on and off and my wife says " what are you doing??" Handed her my glasses and she says "oh! I see". Pretty cool.
