The truck is rated for 14,000 lbs towing (as equipped) which is why I purchased it, as well as why I got the MAX Towing package. Geez, I wish I could afford a bigger truck. :) JD in Colorado

It's June of 2024 and I just got a notification from Ford that the "fix" for the axle hub bolt problem has been pushed ahead for the FIRST QUARTER OF NEXT YEAR (2025). (!) I don't feel comfortable pulling my 11,000 pound travel trailer here in Colorado (mountains) with this issue still...

Thanks, that would make sense to me. So I guess it's just not enough of a trans cooler to keep up with this very taxing situation, given the weight/altitude/speed and fully loaded 9000# TT. I guess it's not that big of a deal if I'm ok with slowing down to 45 mph at the steepest parts...

WELL,... The 2022 Platinum Powerboost did arrive, and I've had it a few months now. Here's where I'm at right now- It handles towing my 9000# TT ok up the Ike Challenge IF I do 45 MPH at the steepest parts.. Ambient temp is 90 - 95F. It does NOT handle it well if I try to go any faster than...
