The dealer ended up finding us a new truck from another dealer. We purchased the extended warranty! So far, it drives like a dream. Since the last truck needed a major overhaul, we wanted a new truck. The dealer still has not gotten answers from Ford so we would have been waiting a long time.
Turns out it's the turbo smart internal waste gate actuator- they would have to replace the entire turbo assembly. They do not have the parts or an ETA. We had this truck less than 16 hours. I am hopeful the dealer will be responsible and take this truck back. :(
Hello, We have the same issue with a whopping 50 miles on it... I am waiting to hear back from the GM. Like you, this is unacceptable. It's a big job, and they do not have the parts. What was your resolution. We did not even own the truck for 24 hours!
