Perhaps I’m being to by the book.
I realize I can dump 5 quarts + (2) 1 quart bottles and eyeball pouring in 80% of a 3rd bottle to get 7.8 quarts and check the dipstick just to be safe, but is there some other method or trick you guys use to get the “0.8”?
It was pretty easy tbh. Probably took 45 minutes. Worst part was zip tying the cables under the bed. Lights function the same as OEM (as far as I’m aware) aside from there not being a switch in the bed.
I had one Ford dealer tell me no when I asked how much to install the lights. He said “too...
You can lean the double driver seat down in the back as well. There’s a pin behind the seat you have to feel for. It’s like a latch. Just fyi if you didn’t already know.
Bought the Starkey bed light kit. Install seems easy enough, but when I watch the install video, there is a very easy, clear pass through tray to run the cable from the 3rd brakelight to inside the cab along the headliner and through the pass through, in between the bed and cab, and then ziptied...
sorry for my ignorance, as this is all new to me. How do I “check x plan pricing at a partner website”? I have a 8 digit PIN that was emailed to me.
I googled ford partner site, but it looks like it needs an “employer code” to login and try. I tried using my PIN, but didn’t think it would work...

I guess after hearing from some of you it does sound like the...
So you’re saying the A plan pricing is generally better (makes sense), but they could add random fees, but even with these fees it’s probable that the current promotion is better than x plan (where fees are capped)?
No sorry should have clarified. An independent shop but they do a lot of ford business so he gets 2 X- plan pins per year.
It does seem like they have decent deals right now, but I am a little distrustful because 1. He’s a salesman 2. He already kind of told me things that aren’t true (“you have...
now that you mention it, I think I’d read they’ll show you “x plan” on the purchase invoice.
when people say “invoice +4%”, am I correct in assuming the invoice price is the price that specific dealership paid Ford corporate, which is going to be lower than MSRP sticker price?
Have a brother that’s a mechanic. Sent me my Ford pin. Found my truck. Called the dealership. Salesmen said “we have employee pricing until July 4th and that will be better for you, but yes we do participate in x plan”. My understanding that the benefit of x plan is it is invoice price (not...
